Leslie O. Baksmaty
Dr. Leslie Baksmaty is a distinguished thought leader and creative scientist. He brings an impressive record of developing disruptive technologies to enhance success and reduce risks in Oil Exploration, Development, and Production. Before founding Orca Geosolutions, he spent 13 years at Shell conceptualizing, developing, and commercializing several ground-breaking technologies to de-risk deep water operations across the upstream value chain. Leslie has a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Physics from the University of Rochester.
Nii Ayikwei Quaye
Nii A. Quaye is an executive level customer-focused business operations transformation professional, with over two decades of experience in improving organizations’ performance against client delivery, operational excellence and financial targets. Nii has a wealth of experience (across all product lines and customer touch points) in operations management, operational Excellence, customer experience delivery, technology facilitation, vendor management, relationship management, process improvement, Operations and process quality, strategic planning and project management.
Kojo Siaw Ofori-Atta
A distinguished energy strategist and entrepreneur, he brings over 35 years of experience in energy and financial markets. He's recognized for his proven ability to forecast market risks, navigate complex financial transactions, and develop innovative solutions for energy and financial market challenges. His impressive career includes founding SSESCO, an energy and financial markets advisory and trading firm, and holding senior leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and ICF International, where he successfully built a new business unit that achieved double-digit year-on-year growth and profitability. He's an alumnus of MIT.
Birol Dindoruk
Dr. Birol Dindoruk is a Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University at College Station. Previously he was AADE Endowed Professor of Petroleum Engineering & Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at University of Houston, and before that he was the Chief Scientist of Reservoir Physics and the Principal Technical Expert of Reservoir Engineering in Shell.Dindoruk has 28 years of industrial experience, holds a BSc Degree from Technical University of Istanbul in Petroleum Engineering, MSc Degree from The University of Alabama in petroleum engineering and also a PhD from Stanford University in Petroleum Engineering and Mathematics, and an MBA from University of Houston.
Jon Teasedale
After completing his PhD in regional basement geology in Adelaide, Jon consulted globally via EHW and SRK in the minerals, coal, wine, and oil industries for 6 years. In 2004, he co-founded Frogtech before moving to Shell in 2007 as a Global Geological Consultant. In 2017, he founded Geognostics and developed GEM, the Geognostics Earth Model. In 2022, he co-founded Tectoniq, a critical minerals exploration company. Jon is an expert in global tectonics, structural geology, and non-seismic geophysics and their combined application to basin and mineral exploration.
